Why Help support this site?

This site was created by "jilly" in June 1998, in an effort to provide a safe, neutral, non-political, non-judgmental, non-religious place for women to gather, talk, heal, find information and support after an abortion. This site was created, built and funded by her. As the site gets larger and the message boards get busier, the costs to keep the site running increase. We ask for donations from the women who believe in the work this site does to help keep it running. Donations help us maintain, update and improve this site, and the services we can offer to women and their families.

If you are interested in helping, we have a couple of ways you can help.

Promoting the site locally - to Promote the site locally, using business cards or flyers, please check out the promotional items area.
Time - If you are interested in volunteer time, you can join our group of volunteers to help with website events, such as message board moderation, chat room moderation, ect. See the bottom of this page for more details about volunteer time.Volunteer Positions

More About Volunteer Time

Our immediate goal is simply to maintain and improve the services of our website. Our mission is to provide help, comfort and support for women and their families after an abortion, and help women deal with PASS. Our main outreach and effort at this time is to develop this website as fully as possible, and provide as much online help as we can. Eventually we will try and move into 'community' outreaches, and in person PASS support groups, but for now, our very limited financial resources are best used in providing web-based support and help.

Our volunteers are composed of people with many different views on abortion. To be a part of this organization, you must be able to set your 'differences' concerning abortion's morality, and whether abortion should be legal or not, and be able to concentrate on working together to help women who have had abortions and their families in a neutral, non-judgmental way. Our focus is on helping women with PASS and dealing only with post abortion isuess. We do not do any lobbying for abortion's status to be legal or illegal, or working with pregnant women who are considering an abortion. This website's work is only post abortion support and help.

We are looking for volunteers to help out in many areas. If you are interested, please post in the volunteer section of the message boards.
