In my broken heart, only loss and pain
Instead of something precious to gain
Everything inside of me is empty
My eyes - vacant,
Instead of your tiny face,
I'll have nothing in its place,
No dark eyes to gaze into, no sweet grin
Only emptiness deep within
My lips will miss, having your soft cheek to kiss...
My arms will have nothing to hold
No soft warm body to mold....safe against mine
My heart the emptiest of all
I'll never hear your precious call
Instead of "mama" in my ears
I hear only endless tears
As I walk along the sidewalk
Covered with chalk rainbows,
The ghost of your hand in mine,
Knowing you will never have the chance to draw the sun, the stars,
Inside I fall to my knees in despair
Because you cant be with me there
I'll never see your beautiful smile
Or feel the black hair of your father in my hand
Please baby, understand
How much I wanted you, love you,
My heart is split open, broken,
Beyond repair
I hope you know how much I care
Maybe some day God will grace us both
When I have a child I will look into his eyes
And see you smile with welcome, gladness
To see your Mommy, to end my sadness
I love you, baby, I always will

such hope i have to look away
To have seen her face as i pictured it

You ask to much tomorrow whispers
Her world is sweeter than ours
I've changed my mind
You have the power
give me the child you have stolen
A sigh from tomorrows lips
stirs the winds of deception
'let her sleep my love'
l fall to my knees with guilt
let her sleep you say
But i stopped her awakening
I know tomorrow whispered..
